Hi, my name is Kate Pawlowski. Welcome to my website!

I am currently a rising junior studying to receive a BFA in Musical Theatre at the University of Miami.

I am an extremely outgoing, dynamic, energetic, and joyful person. I hail from many-a places, having lived in five different locales over the past 20 years, which include Ohio (I still crave a Buckeye now and then), Shanghai, Michigan, Miami (GO CANES), and Los Angeles (where I currently reside). I have a growing collection of jellycats and a borderline unhealthy obsession with them, love to read fiction novels and plays, but the thing I love the most is singing. My parents always joke that as a baby, I “smoothly” transitioned from screaming 24/7 to singing practically all hours of the day. And I’d say that judgment stands true to this day.

In the future, I hope to tackle all aspects of the performance industry, including but not limited to: theatre, television, film, and voice-overs. I love to explore all ranges of characters, though I have often played roles with some grit, angst, and a tough exterior. Whomever I might be playing, I always strive to understand the character inside and out and find some common ground in order to step into the role.

I love putting a smile on someone’s face, and in the end, isn't that what theatre is all about? Having an impact on someone, no matter how big or small? Well, I hope I got a smile on your face, I’ll even settle for a hint of a smirk :)
